The Saint Luke Guild for Healthcare Workers is an association and community of healthcare workers within the Diocese of Bridgeport, striving to live our Catholic faith, who desire to grow in Christian discipleship through a process of encounter with our Lord, Jesus Christ, and mutual accompaniment.

We host periodic “Prayerful Encounters” which are open to anyone connected to the healthcare field as well as spiritual, social and formation gatherings for its inducted members.

WHAT IS THE MISSION OF THE SAINT LUKE GUILD?

The primary mission of the Saint Luke Guild is to support the ongoing spiritual, pastoral and theological needs and formation of its initiated members who serve in the healthcare profession and equip them to serve and assist others who work in the health care profession and are not members of the guild.

WHAT DOES BEING A GUILD MEMBER ENTAIL?

Being a member of the Saint Luke Guild for Healthcare Workers means striving to authentically live your Catholic faith in the healthcare field by surrounding yourselves with others striving for the same goal and accompanying others who may not be members of the Guild.

Each Guild member is expected to prayer the Guild Prayer daily; attend the annual Guild Retreat & Guild Mass; attend one annual formation evening which includes dinner; and to attend periodic, open Guild “prayerful encounters” as their schedule permits.
