BRIDGEPORT—What do you do for leisure? When did you know that God was calling you to be a Priest? What is the hardest part of your ministry?” These questions and more were asked during Bishop Frank Caggiano’s Facebook Live Town Hall Meeting, which occurred on May 31st at 12:30 pm.
The nearly 350 viewers who watched live heard about a variety of different topics, including Bishop Frank’s captivating vocation story, where he shared when he first heard the call. “God gave me everything I wanted,” he explained, “an expense account, a nice car, I got to travel, and I had a nice place to live. And one day I woke up in a sweat and just realized, I was miserable. I had everything I wanted. But not everything I needed.”
Bishop Frank also shared his insights on having spiritual patience, how lay people can support newly ordained Priests, and on returning to the church after an absence. He closed with a promise:
“We’re definitely going to do this again!” Bishop Frank said, in closing.
The Town Hall Meeting was the second in a series of Meetings hosted by the Diocese of Bridgeport. The first Town Hall was held on April 20th: Part One | Part Two
